We are looking for someone with at least two years experience cooking in a commercial kitchen who is hard-working, reliable, organised, creative, and passionate about food and customer service.
Experience preferred but not essential provided you have a passion for food and the desire to learn.
You will be motivated and interested in exploring new flavours and styles of cooking whilst being able to serve a varied menu of both sweet and savory dishes, cakes and bakes.
You will be able to work in a high-pressure, high-turnover environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised. You will also be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Applicants must possess:
• Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
• Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
• Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
• Menu planning
• Following food safety requirements
• Excellent communication with other team members
In return, you will receive a generous hourly wage, share of tips, duty meals, and be eligible for future promotion to supervisory roles. You will also have the freedom to bring your ideas to the table and be supported in achieving your culinary goals.
Part time to full time hours available dependent on applicant.
